At SHAW2020, we are committed to making the theatre and writings of George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries accessible to a wider more diverse audience. As part of our strategic vision, we plan to transition from our current limited company status to a not-for-profit model in 2026. This change will allow us to focus even more on our artistic mission, reinvesting all resources into enriching our productions and developing our educational and community outreach.
As a company that currently relies heavily on ticket sales and generous “angel” funding, we invite arts and literature lovers and our valued audience members to support our mission. Your generous contributions will enable us to expand our productions and tours, engage with broader communities, and uphold the rich tradition of British theatre. Together, we can keep the classics alive while embracing modern adaptations that resonate with today’s society.
We are currently running a Crowdfunder for the first in our Shaw Versus series, Shaw Vs. Chekhov
It’s wonderful to see SHAW2020’s work continue to thrive.
