Founded by actor-members of The Shaw Society in 2018, SHAW2020 explore the theatre and works of George Bernard Shaw, SHAW2020 is a dynamic, forward-thinking theatre company dedicated to producing innovative, thought-provoking theatre that stays true to Shaw’s themes while exploring new artistic horizons for modern audiences.

Our productions blend the classic with the contemporary, offering fresh interpretations of Shaw’s works alongside new productions that explore universal themes of social justice, human complexity, and the intricacies of relationships.
A New Era for SHAW2020
As we look toward the future, we are excited to embark on bold new projects and collaborations, including our upcoming series Shaw versus… where we will juxtapose Shaw’s work with that of other literary giants. In 2026, we will transition to a not-for-profit model, expanding our outreach and deepening our impact within the community, while continuing to produce bold, compelling, and diverse theatre.
